One of the many ways to Live Like Bella® is to show compassion, which inspired the creation of the Show Compassion Collection.

When Bella passed away, she left behind an incredible mark of love, prayer, and service. She was a joyful, caring, loving, s'more-eating 10-year-old who adored bubble baths, cuddling, and wore red (her favorite color) as often as she could! To know Bella was to love her; she lived her life showing compassion and love for those she encountered.

A story of Bella's compassion and heart for service was through her band-aid drive. On one of her routine visits to the hospital, she requested a SpongeBob band-aid after being poked and prodded by the doctors. That's when she learned her local children's hospital had only the regular brown bandaids and no fun ones for children. Bella thought, "Who likes boring bandaids?" So Bella's mom, Shannah Rodriguez-Torres, requested fun Band-Aids on the Live Like Bella® Facebook page - to her surprise, they received thousands of boxes from all over the world. Bella and her family distributed those Band-Aids at Nicklaus Children's Hospital so other kids had the opportunity to get the Band-Aids they wanted after treatment.
